PeerSpace
Not maintainedFully decentralized, censorship-resistant websites, hosted on Arweave.
The problem
Publishing a website without depending on a single host or registrar was possible, but only for people comfortable stitching the tooling together themselves. PeerSpace set out to make it as simple as a regular website builder.
What I did
As CTO I led UX design and product architecture, and ran market research with users, advisors and VCs to decide what to build first. We were four founders working with more than ten industry advisors.
Outcome
We delivered the MVP and a working prototype within nine months. The prototype still runs, but parts of the blockchain tooling underneath it are deprecated, so it is no longer actively maintained.
What I took from it
Building on early infrastructure means your product ages with it. It also taught me how much of a product is decided before any code: who it is for, and what to leave out.
