👨🏻‍💻 About Me

I'm a Frontend engineer building Web3 and learning Blockchain. I love building usable products. Currently, I'm working for TxFusion as a front-end team lead. We are building txSync, the #1 platform for ALL who want to learn, use and build on top of zkSync!

My stack is React + Redux + Typescript, and I'm learning Solidity, which helps me understand the Frontend side of Web3 even more. I also had experience with React Native, in which I built an Augmented Reality app that shows furniture in your room. I also worked with AR in Unity using Vuforia.
I was always interested in cutting-edge technologies, so for me, it was natural to end up in the Blockchain ecosystem, because it revolutionizes not just tech, but also finance, economics, philosophy, and other industries.

🧸 Beginning

My first encounter with the concepts of programming was when I was 14. I played a lot of games and was always interested in creating one of my own. As I didn't even know how these games were created, I googled "How to make games". That led me to some C++ and C# tutorials, and that was the first time I realized you can create a whole new world just by typing something in a text editor.

In elementary school, none of my friends shared an interest in programming and I didn't have anyone to guide me in the right direction, so I didn't really focus and was mainly doing some small HTML + CSS projects, like creating a really ugly website for my friends' Minecraft server.

My real interest in building products and the business side of tech was sparked in 2nd grade of high school, by my classmate and friend Antonio. He was already making money by doing projects, and I just asked him to join, and we started. This was a great way to earn some pocket money and learn a bunch of stuff in real-world case scenarios where we needed to ship projects fast and deadlines could not be broken. I learned a lot about business and marketing also.

We also founded the first Serbian CoderDojo in our hometown, Pancevo. We held regular workshops in the areas of Web Design & Development, Electronics, Game Development, and more. We also organized the first-ever hackathon in our city. It lasted 48 hours, and participants, very ambitious high school and elementary school students, built some awesome projects!

💼 Experience

When I finished high school and got into college, I realized that I knew very little about actual programming and writing quality code, so I decided to find an internship. My first official job/internship was in the company Seven Bridges, where we worked on an internal HR platform in Angular.

My second company, and my first official job, was in Hooloovoo, where I worked with React, but also learned a little bit of the Backend side with Node.

At some point, I started reading about Blockchain and got really interested in it. I was lucky enough that Celsius was hiring then, so I got the opportunity to work there. It was my first real-world touch with the Blockchain product and community, but I wasn't working on any Web3 functionality. Eventually, I started working part-time for Avalaunch and after some time, decided to switch to full-time and leave Celsius. The decision was not easy, but I found that a startup culture was more fitting for me, and I was doing more actual Web3 stuff.
After Avalaunch, I worked for 🐼CEDE Labs where we were building the cede.store wallet, the non-custodial gateway to access your CEX assets from any dApp, and cede.link web platform, your dApp to do everything CEX-related.

Currently, I'm working for TxFusion, building the txSync platform.

I'm also Co-founder and CTO at PeerSpace, the best platform for developing 100% decentralized websites.
